Camilla Thomas designs exquisite textiles which are all inspired by her time spent on Anglesey. Each piece incorporates the colours and shapes of her surroundings all with a remarkable fluidity.
Camilla and I spent a couple of days together in Anglesey where I had the chance to follow her as she walked the coast and then came back to the studio where she creates sketches which evoke the feel of the places she visits. These are used as inspirations for weaving patterns. I could write for hours about Camilla’s process, but I don’t need to since she discusses it herself far more eloquently in the film.
